India’s 1st solar observer mission Aditya L-1 was launched onboard PSLV-P57 from Satish Dhawan Space Centre, Sriharikota on 02 Aug 2023. It will study problems of Coronal heating, Coronal mass Ejection, Pre flare and flare activities, Dynamics of Space Weather, Propagation of particles & fields. It will be placed in Halo Orbit so that it can observe the Sun w/o Occultation or Eclipse effect. It will remain 1.5 million Km away from Sun which is 1% of Sun-Earth distance.

MIC (Minor Irrigation Census) is compendium of of tubewell, borewell and other privately used irrigation schemes by the farmers. During Census carried out by the Jal Shakti Ministry it was observed that among Electricity, Deiseal, Solar and Wind Energy, the Electricity (76%) is the most prominent source of power for water extraction from ground sources.That means 3/4th of the Irrigation sources run on electricity.  UP(17.2%), Maharashtra(15.4%), MP(9.9%) & Tamil Nadu(9.1%) have the largest number of MI (Minor Irrigation) schemes.

This pattern alongwith anti cyclonic wind over North America & cyclonic wind winds over Eurasia, affects the inflow of water from the North Atlantic through the Farm Strait.

The decision has been taken on 60th anniversary first of Germany-India flight (Frankfurt-Rome-Cairo-Kuwait-Karachi-Delhi). Airbus A-380 is the biggest passenger carrier aircraft which has got double decks(upper & lower deck).
